1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without revealing any personal details. For each call of a website the web server will automatically store a so-called server logfile only, containing e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call, the data volume transferred as well as the requesting provider (access data), and recording the call.

Such access data will exclusively be evaluated for the purposes of ensuring an interference-free operation of the website as well as of improving our offer. Pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation the latter shall serve to preserve our legitimate prevailing interests in a proper presentation of our product range in the course of balancing our interests. Any and all access data shall be deleted within seven days from the end of your website visit at the latest.

Hosting services by third-party providers
Within the scope of a processing on our account any third-party provider may render hosting services and services with regard to the presentation of the website for us. The latter shall serve to preserve our legitimate prevailing interests in a proper presentation of our product range in the course of balancing our interests. Any data collected in the course of using this website or in any appropriate forms in the online shop as described in the following will be processed on their servers. Processing on any other servers shall only be made within the framework explained here.

Such third-party provider shall be located within any country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and usage for contract execution and when opening a customer account

We will collect personal data if you voluntarily disclose them to us on the occasion of your order, when contacting us (e.g. by contact form or email) or when opening a customer account. Any mandatory fields will be identified as such, as in such cases we will absolutely need the data for the contract execution or for dealing with your contacting or for the opening of a customer account, and without specifying them you will not be able to conclude the ordering process and/or the opening of a customer account or will not be able to send off the contact form. The respective input forms will show which data are to be collected. Pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. b of the General Data Protection Regulation we will use the data disclosed by you for the contract execution and the processing of your enquiries. Upon complete contract execution or deletion of your customer account, your data shall be restricted for any further processing and deleted upon expiry of the fiscal and commercial storage periods, unless you have explicitly agreed to any further usage of your data or provided that we will reserve the right of any further data usage permitted by law and about which you will be informed in this declaration. Deletion of your customer account may be possible at any time and can either be made by way of sending a message to the below-mentioned contact address or by using any feature destined for this purpose in the customer account.

3. Data transfer

Pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. b of the General Data Protection Regulation we will transfer your data to the shipping company entrusted with the delivery to the extent necessary for delivering the goods ordered for the contractual performance. Depending on your payment provider selection during the ordering process, we will transfer the payment data collected for the payment processing to the financial institution entrusted with such payments and, if applicable, to any payment providers instructed by us or to the payment service selected. To some extent, the payment providers selected will collect such data even on their own if you open an account with them. In such case, you need to register with the payment provider by using your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the data protection declaration of the respective payment provider shall apply.

4. Email newsletter and postal advertising

Postal advertising and your right of objection
In addition, we will reserve the right to use your first and last names as well as your postal address for any own advertising purposes, e.g. for sending any interesting offers and information about our products by letter mail. Pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation the latter shall serve to preserve our legitimate prevailing interests in a promotional approach to our customers in the course of balancing our interests.

Any advertising mails will be delivered on our behalf by service providers to whom we will transfer your data for such purpose.
You may object to the storage and usage of your data for such purposes at any time by way of sending a message to the below-mentioned contact address.

5. Data usage for payment processing

Credit assessment and scoring when selecting BillSAFE (PayPal purchase on account)
When selecting “Purchase on account“ offered by the PayPal service “BillSAFE“ (www.billsafe.de) as payment method, you will be requested during the ordering process to agree to the transfer of any data necessary for the payment processing and an identity verification as well as credit assessment to PayPal pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. a of the General Data Protection Regulation. If you give your consent, such data will be transferred to PayPal. For the purpose of an own identity verification and credit assessment PayPal or any partner company instructed by PayPal will transfer your data to any credit agencies and will receive from them an information as well as, if applicable, a creditworthiness information on the basis of any mathematical-statistical methods whose calculation is based on address data among others. Any detailed information in this context as well as on the credit agencies engaged can be learned from the Data Protection Information of PayPal.
The information received about the statistical probability of any payment default will be used by PayPal for a balanced decision on the establishment, execution or termination of any contractual relationships.
You may revoke your consent towards PayPal at any time. However, if applicable, PayPal will still remain entitled to process, use and transfer your personal data provided the latter being necessary for the contractual payment processing or being required by law or being ordered by any court or authority.

6. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

For displaying our Trusted Shops quality seal and the evaluations collected as well as the range of Trusted Shops products for buyers after ordering, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge has been integrated into this website.

Pursuant to Article 6 subparagraph 1 p. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation the latter shall serve to preserve our legitimate prevailing interests in an optimal marketing of our product range in the course of balancing our interests. The Trustbadge as well as any services advertised thereby will be an offer by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.
When calling the Trustbadge, the web server will automatically store a so-called server logfile containing e.g. your IP-address, date and time of the call, the data volume transferred as well as the requesting provider (access data), and recording the call. These access data shall not be evaluated and automatically overwritten within seven days after finishing your visit to the site at the latest.
Any further personal data will only be transferred to Trusted Shops provided that you have consented hereto, will decide to make use of any Trusted Shops products upon completion of an order or have already registered for the use. In such case, the contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops shall apply.

9. Contact options and your rights

As a person concerned you shall have the following rights:

  • pursuant to Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to obtain any information about your personal data processed by us to the extent stated therein;
  • pursuant to Article 16 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to promptly request correction of any wrong data or completion of your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to request deletion of your personal data stored by us provided that any further processing shall not be necessary
    - for exercising the right of free expression and information;
    - for complying with any legal obligation;
    - for reasons of public interest or
    - for asserting, exercising or defending any legal right;
  • pursuant to Article 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to request for restricting the processing of your personal data provided that
    - the correctness of the data will be contradicted by you;
    - though the processing is unlawful, you will refuse their deletion;
    - though we no longer need the data, you will need them for asserting, exercising or defending any legal right or
    - you have filed an objection against the processing pursuant to Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation;
  • pursuant to Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to obtain your data provided to us in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format or to request transmission to any other person responsible;
  • pursuant to Article 77 of the General Data Protection Regulation you shall have the right to complain to any regulatory authority. In general, you may contact the regulatory authority at your usual residence or work place or at our place of business for this purpose.
