All projects for new SPIDI products are developed and worked out in Sarego (VI) Italy. The experience gained since 1977 has been transferred to the present day in particularly recognized, reliable and safe products that reflect the rules and specifications for suitability, ability and stability. The experience of the world's best drivers come together here, as well as the cooperation with international research institutions such as the Hannover Medical School and the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale Ricerche) in Padova, which we recognize for their great contribution to accident research and the results for the development of safety systems and protective devices to thank. Unique technological innovations that were developed for use in the motorcycle sector are just as much a part of it as the microporous waterproof, windproof and breathable H2OUT membrane, a result of years of cooperation with Toray in Japan. This project results from the partnership with Toray, a Japanese manufacturer of innovations in the field of fibers and textiles, starting with a very precise and demanding goal: to develop a special waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane that has a special microporosity, while guaranteeing maximum comfort and taking into account the special use for motorcyclists. The result today is a hard-wearing lining for H2OUT technical motorcycle clothing. A windproof and waterproof protection that is breathable, light and flexible at the same time and is only micrometrically thin.
