The special features of the Land 2 motorcycle boots by Falco
D3O®
The D3O® impact protection was developed in the winter sports and military industries and first came to FALCO - Boots to apply. The intelligent D3O® molecules flow freely when you move slowly. In the event of an impact, these molecules close together to absorb the impact energy. The special protection of D3O® significantly reduces the impact force on the ankle area.
Tested FALCO membrane against water penetrating the boot. The only scientific test to determine, specify and declare whether a motorcycle boot is waterproof is the EN 13634:2010 test. The test method consists of 100 steps on a suitable platform with a water level of 5mm above the sole. Upon successful completion of this test, the shoe is considered waterproof.

This product is compliant with European Directive 89/686/CEE . The test according to the EN 13634:2010 standard is carried out by laboratory tests. The European standard EN 13634:2010 includes two levels of performance in terms of the protection afforded. The level "Level 1" is the minimum requirement. "Level 2" offers increased performance. These levels confirm abrasion resistance, cut resistance and underside hardness.
