What sets the GMS Gelero apart in practice

The Gelero has well-designed ventilation openings at the front and rear – not just decorative slits, but real air channels. The sun visor – more practical than it sounds: On many journeys, the brightness changes constantly. Forest, then open country road, then forest again. With a flip-up inner visor, you don't need to constantly change your sunglasses. You ride into a shady bend, flip down the visor – done. This saves distraction and time.
Fit and lining – more important than many people think: A helmet can have as many features as you like – if the padding doesn't fit, it's uncomfortable. With the GMS Gelero, the cheek pads and the entire inner lining are separately removable. This means you can wash everything without damaging the helmet. And for those who wear glasses: there is a glasses channel so that the arms don't press uncomfortably against your ears.
Visor quality and operation: The clear, scratch-resistant visor sits securely with a quick-change mechanism. Not as annoying as screw threads, but just as reliable. The lock prevents the visor from slipping while riding – whether you're travelling at 100 km/h on the motorway or just slowly rolling out of the garage. The ratchet fastener for the chin straps lies comfortably flat and can be operated with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
