Joint protectors comply with EN-1621-1: 2012, the back protectors EN 1621-2: 2014.
Dimensionally stable with memory effect: After external forces, the foam soon returns to its original shape.
More impact-resistant: In contrast to many other damping materials, the foams of SAS-TEC are more impact-resistant. That means: the protectors are reusable after fall.
Lightweight: The density of the SAS-TEC foam is around 280 g / l, hard shell protectors weigh about 1050 g / l.
Adapted damping behavior: The air trapped in the cells of the foam causes progressive damping. The damping performance increases proportionally with the force effects that occur at high speed.
Environmentally sound: The raw material for foam production is partly made from renewable raw materials. The disposal of the protectors can be done easily on the household waste.
Long service life: Some protector manufacturers only spend two to three years on their products - the service life of the SAS-TEC foam is around ten years.
Temperature-resistant: Thanks to a special mixture, SAS-TEC foam is temperature-resistant up to around 100 degrees Celsius.

SuperFabric®
Due to the extremely hard epoxy layer SuperFabric® offers the highest protection in fall-prone areas, such as shoulder, elbow, knee area and palms / knuckles. The Superfabric® material consists of small hard plates, which because of their narrow arrangement discourage sharp objects (cut resistant).
Sympatex®
The Sympatex® membrane consists of a copolymer of polyester (water-repellent effect), and polyether (water vapor-permeable effect). The weight is about 30 g per jacket or 2 g per shoe. Water can not penetrate from the outside (water column:> 45,000 mm), but water vapor molecules are passed through the membrane from inside to outside in a physico-chemical way. The advantage: Since there are no pores, they can not be added by detergent residues or salt crystals. Thus, the breathability remains long term.
The Sympatex® membrane is a closed hydrophilic polyester membrane, meaning that it has no pores. The membrane is only 1/100 mm thin, transparent and slightly opaque, 100% waterproof, 100% windproof and optimally breathable. This gives the wearer absolute independence from the weather - and at every opportunity. The Sympatex® membrane is 100% recyclable. It consists of a harmless polyether ester and is therefore absolutely environmentally friendly.
Tactel
The dynamic specialty polyamide fiber Tactel® is used to create garments that are soft, pleasantly smooth, breathable and lightweight. Thus, the Tactel® material of DU PONT® gives a superior wearing comfort. Strict testing has shown that Tactel® fibers are at least twice as soft and 20 percent lighter than most other fibers. They also dry eight times faster than cotton. Not only are Tactel® fibers soft and lightweight, they also have high tear resistance.
