Scorpion EXO-1500 Carbon Air – Lightweight sports tourer for long days in the saddle
This helmet comes with a clear visor and a tinted visor!
You enjoy rides where you don't have to constantly focus on the speedometer – corners combined with longer stretches, varying light conditions, sometimes warm, sometimes cool mountain air. The Scorpion EXO-1500 Carbon Air full-face helmet is designed precisely for riders like you. This protective gear combines genuine touring DNA with modern sports design. The ultra-light carbon fibre construction weighs just 1446 grams in size M – that's noticeably less strain on your neck on the way over the Brenner Pass or along the Elbchaussee. At the same time, the headgear provides an aerodynamic shell that reduces wind noise and ensures stability on the motorway. The innovative ventilation with height-adjustable internal sun visor makes this helmet a reliable choice when the demands are high and the daily mileage is not low.

What sets the Scorpion EXO-1500 Carbon Air apart in practice
The carbon fibre shell is the first thing you notice – it is significantly lighter than comparable sports touring helmets. On long motorway journeys, you really notice this after three or four hours: there is less strain on the neck muscles and you can stay focused for longer. At the same time, the aerodynamic shape proves its worth on every journey. Wind and noise levels are average for this helmet class – at 130 km/h, this head protection reaches around 100 dB. It's not noise-free, but it's significantly better than previous generations.
Ventilation is actually one of the strengths of this type of helmet. Chin vent, top vent and rear exhaust work together to create a temperature balance of virtually zero degrees – air circulation works effectively even without crosswinds. In stop-and-go traffic, the interior temperature remains moderate, while on longer journeys at higher speeds, the ventilation has a noticeable cooling effect. The height-adjustable internal sun visor (Speedview™ II) covers a range of light conditions – in the morning when setting off in low sunlight, at midday when passing through tunnels, and in the afternoon when riding into the sun. You don't have to constantly change the visor, just adjust the visor. The AirFit® system deserves a mention of its own. The inflatable cheek pads can be adjusted in seconds with small pumps – ideal if the fit isn't perfect at first or if your head swells after a long ride. Glasses wearers benefit from the KwikFit® design, which offers enough space for the width of the temples without pressing. The removable KwikWick® 3 inner lining is antibacterial, temperature-regulating and can be removed in less than two minutes – perfect for quick washing at home or on the go.
