The Sena Expand Mesh is a compact communication headset that is equipped with Mesh Intercom™ technology and enables easy group communication. The special features of the Sena Expand Mesh
SEAMLESS MESH INTERCOM™ COMMUNICATION
When you use the Expand Mesh, you can be hands-free Communicate with other Sena Mesh Intercom™ users at a distance of up to 400 m (range between two devices) or at a distance of up to 1 km with 6 or more users. The Expand Mesh features both a group mesh mode and an open multi-channel mesh mode that supports 9 channels, allowing users to switch between different groups on different frequencies. Sena's mesh platform also provides the flexibility to operate out of range of a mesh group while keeping the rest of the group connected without disruption.
SLIM & COMFORTABLE DESIGN
The Expand Mesh is engineered in a low-profile enclosure that sits comfortably over the user's ears but still allows for awareness of the surrounding sounds. The Expand Mesh has rounded brackets just above the speakers that ensure a secure fit on the head and ears. The device's low-hanging neckband allows the user to also wear a hat, climbing helmet or goggles while using the Expand Mesh headset.
SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY
In addition to the integrated intercom, the Expand Mesh also enables Bluetooth® connection with a smartphone. Once your smartphone is paired, you can listen to music, get GPS directions, get alerts from fitness apps, or even take a call. Thanks to Sena's Audio Multitasking™, users can listen to audio from a smartphone and still communicate through the Mesh Intercom system without interrupting the conversation. The Expand Mesh is also compatible with the Sena Outdoor App, which allows setting up intercom groups, adjusting device settings and accessing the device's Quick Start Guide on the go.
