The features of the Shoei NXR 2 sports full-face helmet
SafetyIts outer shell in AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix ) offers optimal protection against impacts in connection with a central polystyrene system made up of several elements with different absorption capacities. The CWRF2 visor, newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2, with its two-dimensional shape enables distortion-free and very natural vision to open the visor unintentionally, and thanks to the advanced mechanics of the previous model, it can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools. The enlarged and fog-free PINLOCK® EVO lens included in the scope of delivery of the helmet allows a clear view of a large part of the usable field of vision on the back even in difficult weather conditions thanks to the far removed attachment points. The double lockable chin strap is easily adjustable and holds the helmet firmly in position. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed with the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) so that the helmet can be easily removed.
Comfort
5 different outer shell sizes (XXSS ML XLXXL XXXL) make the NXR2 a compact and lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its low weight relieves the neck muscles and thus reduces the fatigue effect, whether during rail sports or long hikes. Three-dimensionally shaped headrest, pre-shaped cheek pads and chin guard are completely removable and washable. Slightly structured, but soft, quick-drying padding materials reduce the padding friction on the skin and ensure a comfortable fit. Newly developed cheek pads make it easier to put on and take off thanks to their voluminous underside, they reduce noise pollution for the wearer. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for the individual fit of the helmet. Removable ear pads effectively contribute to soundproofing. Recesses on the ears allow the installation of a communication system.
Ventilation
The 6 ventilation inlets and 4 exhaust outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are inside the helmet shell via a branched ventilation system connected and significantly reduce the internal temperature and humidity in the helmet. Aerodynamics
Integrated spoiler on the back of the head stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. The compact and aerodynamically optimized design of the SHOEI NXR2 further reduces its wind resistance and the tendency to lift already low values of the previous model. This effectively relieves the strain on the driver's neck and reduces fatigue, even on long journeys. Vortex generators on the visor edges and a newly developed visor seal minimize noise in the visor area.
Accessories
The visors are available for the SHOEI NXR2 in different tints that can be used in accordance with the ECE approval guidelines. The helmet is Equipped with a transparent visor of the type CWRF2 as standard. All visors of this type can be equipped with PINLOCK® EVO anti-fog lenses, one of which is included in the scope of delivery of the helmet. The SHOEI range of accessories includes cheek and head pads in various sizes and thicknesses as a replacement for the standard padding or for customizing the helmet, as well as chinstraps, nose guards and chinstraps.
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery of the SHOEI NXR2 includes a PINLOCK® EVO shield for use in the standard CWRF2 visor and matching replacement pins. Also included are nose protection, chin guard, SHOEI logo sticker, original SHOEI helmet bag for proper helmet storage and silicone oil for visor sealing and mechanic maintenance. The helmet manual and the “How to Use Your Helmet Correctly” booklet contain valuable information on the use, care and maintenance of the SHOEI NXR2.
