The materials of the Hoodie Hootch
DuPont ™ Aramid®
The DuPont ™ Aramid® material combines strength with light weight. Aramid® is woven from aramid and nylon fibers. The extremely abrasion- and tear-resistant material is five times stronger than steel at the same weight. Thus, the use of Aramid® is ideally suited for motorcycle clothing and is mainly used at crash sites. In addition, Modeka uses Aramid® on some textile pants for protection from the exhaust.
