Comfort
Material:
Based on positive experience in recent years, the soft polyamide material Tactel has become an important part of the Modeka Adventure line. So of course the decision for the first Modeka laminate clothing fell on the material Tactel. For this reason, the Viper LT suit is much softer and more comfortable to wear compared to the usual rigid hard laminate fabrics.
Fit:
Pants are shorter at the front and rounded (concave). Advantage: pants fit well on boots.
Ventilation:
Modeka flow ventilation from front to back:
Air vent zippers: 4
2 front on the thigh
2 back on the thigh

External pockets:
2 waterproof patch front pockets with flap, Velcro and press stud
2 waterproof zip pockets

The special features of the Viper LT men's motorcycle pants from Modeka
TactelGarments that are soft, pleasantly smooth, breathable and light are made from the dynamic polyamide special fiber Tactel®. The Tactel® material from DU PONT® thus provides outstanding comfort. Rigorous testing has shown that Tactel® fibers are at least twice as soft and 20 percent lighter than most other fibers. They also dry eight times faster than cotton. Tactel® fibers are not only soft and light, they also have high tensile strength.
Humax®
Humax® is a climate membrane made of polyurethane. Countless pores (1.4 billion per 1 cm2) prevent the large raindrop from penetrating (water column 10,000 mm); the small water vapor molecules of body moisture can escape. The Humax® moisture protection keeps the body dry from the outside and inside and at the same time warm all around.
SAS-TEC®
Protectors with highest shock absorption values and best wearing comfort,
Joint protectors meet EN-1621-1: 2012, the back protectors EN 1621-2: 2014.
Dimensionally stable with memory effect: After external forces, the foam returns to its original shape after a short time.
Multi-impact: In contrast to many other damping materials, the foams from SAS-TEC are multi-impact. That means: the protectors are reusable after a fall.
Lightweight: The density of the SAS-TEC foam is around 280 g / l, hard shell protectors weigh around 1050 g / l.
Adapted damping behavior: The air trapped in the cells of the foam causes progressive damping. The damping performance increases proportionally with the forces acting at high speed.
Environmentally friendly: The raw material for foam production is partly made from renewable raw materials. The protectors can be easily disposed of with household waste.
Long lifespan: Some protector manufacturers only state a lifespan of two to three years for their products - the lifespan of the SAS-TEC foam is around ten years.
Temperature resistant: Thanks to a special mixture, SAS-TEC foam is temperature resistant up to 100 degrees Celsius.
Best wearing comfort: due to the high elasticity of movement of the foam
Hand washable: The water absorption is below 1%, the protectors can therefore be washed by hand without hesitation.
3M Scotchlite ™
At dusk and in the dark, 3M Scotchlite ™ significantly improves the visibility of motorcyclists. Scotchlite ™ reflective materials have an open, very wide-angle reflective system made of catadioptric glass balls. Other reflective materials, due to their structure, require direct light to function. Scotchlite ™ emits light, even if it does not hit directly, brilliantly white and concentrated back to the light source. Silver Scotchlite ™ exceeds even the highest European norms for simulated heavy rains.
DuPont ™ Aramid®
The DuPont ™ Aramid® material combines strength with light weight. Aramid® is woven from aramid and nylon fibers. The extremely abrasion and tear resistant material is five times stronger than steel with the same weight. Thus, the use of Aramid® is excellently suitable for motorcycle clothing and is mainly used at crash sites. Modeka also uses Aramid® on some textile pants as protection from the exhaust.
cordura®
Cordura® is a high-quality polyamide fabric made from cut and repeatedly spun fibers. In its slightly structured, natural weave look, it is comfortable to wear and is significantly better than other nylon materials. This extremely abrasion-resistant and tear-resistant material has different thread thicknesses, known by the abbreviation D (= denier). Modeka only processes Cordura® with a yarn count of at least 500 D and thus brings the safety standard to a very high level. The highest thread size, 1000 D Cordura®, is mainly used at fall points.
