The Sena 50R: Mesh redefined
Mesh 2.0 offers a robust new level of reliable intercom connections and forms an adaptive and autonomous communication network with the help of intelligent routing management. The innovative system of prompts and responses between the Mesh 2.0 headsets from Sena leads to an astonishing 80% increase in data transmission even under challenging conditions and offers superior intercom audio quality with an absolutely solid connection. In addition, the real-time exchange of information between connected devices takes place at breathtaking speed and allows the Mesh 2.0 network to immediately determine the optimal path for the transmission of messages to all participants.
One device - three intercom modes
The 50R has three different intercom modes: Group Mesh Intercom, Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom and Bluetooth Intercom.
With Group Mesh you create a single, private group that supports up to 24 participants within a range of up to 8 km (at least 6 drivers at intervals of 1.6 km)! To ensure additional control and privacy, users must be invited to a group mesh network.
With Multi-Channel Open Mesh you can communicate with practically anyone who participates in the Mesh 2.0 network within a range of up to 8 km (min. 6 drivers at intervals of 1.6 km). In Open Mesh mode you have the opportunity to experience an absolute industry novelty - multi-channel communication! With nine channels available, you can switch to a new frequency for conversations with different groups within the Open Mesh network.
The traditional Bluetooth intercom mode rounds off the package with the third available communication option, so that really every driver and his constantly changing driving scenarios will benefit from the incredible flexibility and technology.

New HD speakers for a better sound experience
The newly designed speakers have been optimized so that they are more comfortable to wear in the helmet and also offer impressive audio performance. As always, the speakers of the 50R naturally fit easily into the speaker cut-out of a helmet, but have a bevelled edge so that a potential interference when wearing can be avoided.
However, the best exterior design isn't worth much if the audio output doesn't live up to expectations. With a significant increase in volume, bass boost and clarity, the brand new HD speakers not only meet expectations, they also exceed them!
Voice commands for better control
Take control of the 50R without lifting a finger. You can control the 50R hands-free with voice commands, such as: B. Open an open mesh session or answer a call. Just say a command and the 50R will act for you. The 50R responds to eight different languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
The best thing about voice commands, however, is the new direct hands-free access to Google or Siri via your smartphone! "Hey Siri, please get directions to the next hotel!" "Hey Google, what's the weather like today?" No buttons, no more preliminary commands. The 50R connects to everything Google Assistant and Apple's Siri have to offer while you're on the go! Access phone numbers or music apps, or ask for directions to who knows where. Riding Connected couldn't be easier.
Fast charging and automatic updates
Is your 50R's battery running low? In addition to the technical improvements to the quick-charge function, a battery with a particularly high energy density was installed in the 50R, so that the device can be charged 30% faster than in previous Sena quick-charge batteries. After a charging time of only 20 minutes, you get 3.5 hours of mesh intercom or another 6 hours in Bluetooth intercom mode. A full charge of the device takes only one hour and offers eight hours of mesh communication or 13 hours of Bluetooth intercom talk time! Simply connect the included WiFi adapter to charge your 50R or use it to install automatically available firmware updates. Updating your Sena device has never been easier!
Improved usage with the Sena 50 Utility app
Use all functions of the 50R with the new utility app. After downloading the new 50 Utility app, simply connect your 50R to your smartphone and experience how quick and easy it is to set up and manage. Keep control of Bluetooth intercom pairings, configure channel settings for Open Mesh Intercom, or create a private group in Group Mesh mode. You can even access audio equalizer presets to experience new musical soundscapes!
